Meet Miss Debbie and Miss Juliana
Director
Miss Debbie
Miss Debbie brings over 40 years of dance experience and training in all styles. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to study with some of the industry’s most respected names, including the legendary Luigi and the incredible Frank Hatchett.
Over the years, Miss Debbie has helped countless students reach their full potential and pursue successful careers in dance. From Broadway performers and NFL cheerleaders to backup dancers and beyond, she has inspired and guided so many aspiring artists on their journeys.
Her uplifting and encouraging teaching style has shaped the heart of Studio D, creating an environment built on growth, confidence, and creativity. Miss Debbie has always believed that dance is more than movement — it is a powerful emotional outlet and a safe space where children can freely express themselves.
The impact she has made over the years is reflected in the many former students who have returned to Studio D to entrust her with their own daughters’ dance education.
Owning her own studio has always been Miss Debbie’s lifelong dream, and through Studio D, that dream has become a reality.
Artistic Director and Head Choreographer
Miss Juliana
Miss Juliana has been dancing since she could walk. As Miss Debbie’s daughter, she grew up immersed in the studio, spending her childhood moving from classroom to classroom and developing a lifelong passion for dance.
With over 27 years of dance experience, Juliana spent her teenage summers touring the country with Dance America, assisting world-renowned choreographers and further expanding her training. Her professional performance credits include dancing as a backup performer for Linda Lin and Monsters of Freestyle, appearing in multiple music videos, and performing as an opening act for Tinashe.
In addition to her performance career, Juliana has choreographed national dance team opening numbers, served as an adjudicator for over four years, and is a sought-after convention teacher and master class instructor.
Highly trained in all styles of dance, Juliana’s choreography is known for its versatility, with specialties in lyrical, and hip hop. Her work has earned multiple choreography awards, as well as nominations for IDAs and Choreography Entertainer of the Year.
Juliana is passionate about pushing her students beyond their limits while helping them discover their individuality, artistry, and the reason they fell in love with dance. Her goal is to inspire every dancer who enters her classroom to grow not only technically, but personally and creatively as well.
